I have a lot of fun with kids. We always become best friends. I am good at being one of them. I am great at helping with homework, cooking them tasty/healthy meals and playing games/doing activities they enjoy.

My style is to be childlike and do fun things together. I uphold values such as equality, kindness, honesty, helpfulness, the golden rule, etc. If you have ever been white water rafting you will know that the guides never point to the place they don't want you to go to. They always "point positive", as they call it. This is a great visual for my style of babysitting/nanny. I always direct someone by telling them what is good to do. I have 2. 5 years recent experience with 3 children - I watched them during the summer while their mom was at work, from the time she left the house at 8 a.m. till the time she got home at 6 p.m. I have also watched them at other times and even like to hang out with them when I'm not "nannying" them, just because I love them so much. They have become a part of my life and we share everything with each other. I know all their interests, what they like and don't like, what subjects they are good in and what ones they need help with. They are ages 15, 12 and 10. I can supply their mom as a reference upon request and you can ask her any questions you may have.

I also recently worked short-term for a family with their 8-year-old son, picking him up from school, doing homework, making him a snack, playing outside and making dinner before his mom/dad got home. During the first part of summer I watched him on week days and we played games, went swimming, etc.
