I have had early experience caring for children. I spent my weekends and school vacations watching over my little sister, my niece, and my nephew, as well as their friends. I'm also an Early Childhood Education student. I want to make it my career teaching and caring for children. Until recently, I was a teacher at an Early Childhood Center in Cedar Park, Texas where I cared for children 6 weeks old all the way to after school care. After that I was a care giver to a 5-year-old with Down Syndrome, where my responsibilities included taking her to and from therapy twice a week, feeding, bathing, potty training, and, of course, playing! I also have some experience with children with ADD/ADHD and foster children. I am blessed with a lot of patience and enjoy working with children with special needs. I know some sign language, but will soon take classes to learn more!
