I've always been the neighborhood babysitter growing up. I also took care of my little sister (who is now 14). I was a nanny in FL for a few months (that's all they needed me for). I have friends who have kids and only allow me or their family to watch them. :)

I am very outgoing. I love to do crafts (scrapbooking is my favorite!) I love the outdoors. Summer can never be too hot! My favorite things to do with kids are probably the little things (which may be big to them): going to the park, reading, coloring, sidewalk chalk, riding bikes, making up some silly game outside, doing make up, nails and hair (with the girls, of course), catch, making mud pies, swimming, museums, zoo, walking around the neighborhood. Anything to keep us busy and more time away from the TV. When I was little, we only watched Saturday morning cartoons! I wish it was the same way now!

I am also comfortable with pets. I own my own dog now, but we've always had a family pet! My dad has a dog, and my mom has 3 cats (one of them is mine). My sister has a cat and they just got a puppy!

I am no chef, but I know my way around the kitchen. :)

I'm really easygoing and take pride in my work ethic. I honestly believe my calling is kids. I've tried other jobs and I'm just never satisfied. Give me a kid and I go home happy (although, I am level headed so I know it definitely gets tough on some occasions).
