I'm a loving, fun, patient, college educated, reliable, affectionate, and very kind native New Yorker. I genuinely love children and have cared for both boys and girls, newborn to teenage years. I also have experience working in an in-home daycare and teaching toddler activity classes. I'm capable of responding to the variety of needs, interests, and dispositions of children and have continued lasting friendships with both the children and parents who I have worked with in the past. I feel very fortunate to have been an encouraging influence and stable presence in the lives of many of our city's wonderful kids.

I'm a communicative and interactive caregiver, who loves to be outside doing fun things with children like singing, going to the park/playground, museums, the zoo, on play dates, to activities or inside playing games, doing arts and crafts, playing music, reading, building with Legos, etc. I can help with homework and have experience tutoring the older children who I've worked with in basic Spanish.

I encourage children to help clean up their toys, to pick up after themselves, stress the importance of personal hygiene. When they're less than enthusiastic about it, I turn it into a game and try to make it fun. I'm impeccably neat, clean, and organized and will always leave the house in perfect condition, but I'm definitely not a housekeeper, as my focus is on the children.

I have been frequently recognized for treating the children whom I cared for as if they were my own and have always worked with families who both respected and appreciated the importance of my work as their child's nanny and who saw me as their partner and a family member, versus their employee. I have excellent and verifiable references from several NYC families, but out of respect for their privacy, I would prefer not to list their contact information online. I would be more than happy to provide any information that is needed once we have met.
