I am currently a full time nanny for a family with a 7-month-old baby in the Bethesda area. I began working with this family when their little one was 2 1/2 months old while they were living in Baltimore.

I have had the privilege to work with some really great families in Baltimore over the past year. Now that I have moved to Bethesda, I do not have the large family network that I once had, and will now have the time and the opportunity to consider working with new families in the Bethesda area for the occasional night out (nights/weekends).

I am a dedicated and responsible 23-year-old graduate from the University of Pittsburgh. I have cared for children for the past 10 years in various roles from a nightly sitter to overnight, week-long, weekend travel care, and full time nannying for newborns, toddlers, and school-aged children. I have cared for over 5 children at a time, and am comfortable watching multiple children.

I have a passion to help children learn and grow in a safe environment. I enjoy interacting with them in a variety of settings and outings including the playground, library, swimming pool, park, science center, museums, and other activities/sports/crafts that allow for a fun and educational experience.

Outside of babysitting and nannying, I have worked in a variety of fields:

1.) Life guard and swim instructor at a local community pool in Pennsylvania
2.) Personal care attendant for a quadriplegic woman with multiple sclerosis
3.) Tour guide and office assistant
4.) Search marketing specialist (online marketing and advertising)

I have studied abroad twice in 9 countries:

Semester at Sea, Summer 2009: Spain, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Egypt, and Morocco
