I live in West Chester. I share my home with my husband, two daughters adopted from China, two cats, and wonder dog, Bailey. I became a nanny three years ago. I have worked with two wonderful families in that time. The first family I worked for had two children, ages 4 and 5. The family I am currently providing care for have three children, ages 6, 8 and 12. All of the children will be in school full-time in the fall and the family will no longer need my services. Before becoming a nanny, I was a substitute teacher. Prior to that, I taught elementary and preschool for 15 years. I would be much more than a caretaker for your child/children. In my current position, I have helped the children with their academic skills. Many of our days included reading, writing and math skills. In addition to these activities, we created art, did puzzles, went to the library, played games, and played at different parks. It has been so much fun. In addition, I helped the older children with homework completion. I am dependable, experienced with children, organized, full of energy and love to have fun. I would love the opportunity to care for, teach, play, and learn with your child. I am available for the 2013-2014 school year. I am not available during the summer months. I am also available between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. I would also consider part-time if I could work at least 25 hours a week. Thank you for your consideration.
