I am currently working for a family in Redwood City, Ca and also live in Redwood City myself. I care for a 9-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy. Duties in the household are to take the kids to their schools, activities, and play dates. I do the grocery shopping and laundry. I tend to cook dinner at least 3 nights a week and prepare some lunches to keep in the refrigerator for who ever my need it. Before this family, I was a shared nanny for 2 families in the Palo Alto area. They each had 2 boys, starting ages for the first family was about 12 months and 3 years. At that job I typically took the boys to various parks, fun outdoor activities, to preschool or toddler play time, as well as addition them in learning colors, numbers, and letters. Helped the family when it came to potty training, manners, sharing and caring. If I was there for any of their meals, I would prepare for them but not the adults. However, I am not apposed to cooking for the parents.
