I am a career nanny with over 10 years experience as a childcare provider for private families. I also have three years combined professional and volunteer experience working as an assistant preschool and kindergarten teacher. All of my former employers are happy to provide excellent references. I am currently available for a long-term position, part or full-time, and hoping to connect with families looking for a bright and capable nanny who is committed to providing high quality childcare.

I have chosen to work with children as a career because it is challenging, motivating and uniquely rewarding. I want children to feel secure (and happy!) and parents to feel 100 percent confident. I value and strive to provide a safe, supportive environment for children, and I am committed to being a positive role model as they grow. I also strive to provide continuity and support to parents.

I tend to be actively involved with infants and children throughout the day, but keep in mind the need for balance and downtime. I also tend to create a structure and routine, but keep things flexible and realistic. I love spending quality time with children, heading out on walks and trips to the playground, playing imaginative games inside and out, singing songs, doing art and cooking projects, reading lots and lots of books, and the list goes on.

While childcare is my primary focus, I am always happy to help with household and other tasks that keep things running smoothly for working and busy parents. Kitchen clean up, prepping and cooking meals and snacks, light cleaning and organizing, child and family laundry, occasional errands, and full home and pet care when families travel, are all things I am quite comfortable with.

I am CPR certified, and I am happy to assist with any and all background checks.

I would also be interested in doing some on-call work (evenings, weekends, holidays). For on-call jobs, my rate is negotiable.
