I am an Old Dominion University graduate with a Bachelor's in Teacher Prep (PreK-6). I have successfully completed 18 Education Curriculum Instruction (ECI) course hours with a grade of "A-"or higher in each where I learned how to engage children in fun and interactive learning. I assisted my mother in running a day care in our home from when I was in middle school through my high school graduation watching children of various ages from infants - up. I have been a nanny/ housekeeper watching ages 4 weeks old (newborn) to 11 years old (all as great references). I lived with my sister and my nephew (now 5 years old) prior to getting married and helped her with potty training, etc. I have also worked in a preschool watching up to 4 infants at a time. I left the preschool to pursue my dream of bringing the important fundamentals of "learning while playing," structure, and socialization into a home setting. I have always had a strong passion for children and couldn't imagine doing anything else in life.
