Hello potential families! My name is Laura and I have been taking care of children in some capacity since I was 12 years old. I now have a son of my own and I am looking for a position where I can bring him with me. I moved from Minnesota to KC in April, 2000, and was a nanny for a family in Prairie Village full/part time for 7 years. I have also been a part time nanny for 2 other families. I baby/kid-sit for friends and acquaintances on a regular basis. I was the night time supervisor for a program at my church. I have experience in all ages. I enjoy kids and having fun with them but also believe in them taking responsibility for themselves, being polite, and knowing what is expected of them. Obviously, these things change depending on age. I drive a 2011 Toyota RAV4 and have no problem taking the kids places or picking them up. I enjoy doing fun things with the kids like parks, library, nature centers, etc. My philosophy is to leave your house better than I found it if at all possible.
