Since I was in sixth grade, I have either taught or helped in the classrooms for the 4 and under children at church. When I was 16, I was a nanny for 3 kids (ages 1, 3 and 10) during the summer from 8 a.m. until 9 or 10 p.m. I prepared all meals and got them ready for bed each day. Since then I have been given the opportunity to babysit children of all ages for different families. I am an education major attending Arlington Baptist College and I will be finished with my classes by noon each day. For the past two summers, I have gone to a children's home in Mexico City to spend time with the children and show them that they are loved and to play with them! Working with children is such a passion of mine and I would love to be able to work with all the families I can. I have also taken care of my baby cousin, who will be age 1 in August, since the day she was born. This has prepared me to be comfortable around newborns, but I am comfortable around children of all ages!

Although I haven't taken the background check here, I have worked for a school district for the three previous summers and had to have a pretty strict background check.
