In high school I worked for Community Partnerships of Idaho. I was a therapeutic technician to two boys with autism. While employed there I received CPR and first aid training. I was employed there for about a year then had to quit due to starting college. About a year later I began nannying for a family with a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old. I worked for them for about two years until the mom decided to stay at home. Since then I have only watched my niece and nephew who are 7 and 10. I greatly enjoy children and being around them. My husband is currently deployed and I think it would be good to have a chance to do something to keep myself busy and make me happy. I think it is important that kids have fun with their caregiver while their parents are gone. They also need to be comfortable, if they are comfortable then the parents can feel better about who they are leaving their kids with.
