I am a native Californian, living in Pleasant Hill. I have two daughters and three grandchildren.

My childcare experience includes raising my daughters, who've grown up to be honest, hardworking, and college educated, young adults. While raising my family, I worked full-time as an Executive Administrative Assistant, for 20 years.

When my job was eliminated in 2006, my daughter delivered my newborn grandson in the same week. Suddenly, I had a new job caring for him full-time as my daughter and son-in-law returned to work. I fell in love with this little baby and knew that caring for children was my future and that I would truly enjoy doing it. I cared for my grandson full-time, until he started preschool and then kindergarten.

I wanted to continue caring for children, and joining Care.com to allow me to do so. During the last three years, I have met many wonderful families, whose children I care for on an on-call basis. The children range in age from newborn to 10 years old. One child I care for is special needs, requiring 100% constant and complete care.

While babysitting, I love to take children for walks to the park, read books, play outside, etc. I enjoy preparing healthy meals and assisting with household chores (during nap time), so parents can spend more time with their family at the end of the day instead of chores. I am very fond of animals, so pets are perfectly fine with me.

If I can assist you with errands of any kind, my car is fully insured and my DMV record is clean.
