I have been a Toddler Teacher and Nanny in the past. My responsibilities as a Toddler Teacher included helping 2 and 3 year-old toddlers learn basic skills to succeed in a preschool class, taught students number, letters and colors, taught toddlers their cognitive skills, motor skills and social skills. I have been responsible for making a portfolio for every student in class, and also responsible for turning in observations on five students each week.
As a Nanny I had the following duties; from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. help take care of four young children while mom recovers from brain tumor. I was responsible for getting oldest three off to school and look after 10 month in the home. I helped the 10-month-old with cognitive skills, motor and social skills, helped with house cleaning, laundry, with children's homework, after school activities and play dates. I also took the 10-month-old to music classes and swimming lessons, made dinner and helped children with baths and school clothes for next day before leaving. I also have CDA in Childcare Development.
