I have many different experiences working with children of all ages. I am the oldest of 3 children and cared for them while my mother was in college. I worked for the Northwest school district for four years as a paraprofessional in a special needs class. During that time I worked one on one with child that has cerebral palsy and was physically unable to care for herself. I assisted the child in daily activities and routines including eating, bathroom duties, changing, and walking. I have also worked with children that have autism. Within the past year I have worked for the university at a day care center with children ages 5 weeks to 11 years of age. I am certified in First Aid and CPR as well as blood borne pathogens. I am currently enrolled at UCM in the Criminal Justice department.
