For the last 10 years, I have provided part-time child care to my two granddaughters, ages 6-years-old and 9-years-old, who live in Massachusetts. Now that they are both in school, I would love to find another opportunity to work with children. I managed all aspects of their daily routine including bathing, dressing, etc. I also provided special care in preparing meals for a child with nut allergies. I regularly took them to various activities like gymnastics, dance, and doctor's appointments. Outings and walks were a regular part of our day, as were trips to the grocery store. I love to cook for people and have been told I'm very good at it. I'm an avid reader, love dogs, walk regularly, have a green thumb and love working in my yard. Prior to providing daycare to my grandchildren I had a career as a bookkeeper and billing clerk.
