Hello! My name is Lacy. I'm a 32-year-old self employed highly motivated home care professional and experienced nanny. Let me tell you about myself.

I was born in upstate new York in a town called Granville. A small earthy town with a lot of farming. My mother taught me the value of eating healthy and the effort needed into maintaining a balanced diet. I love vegetables, some of which I grow in my own garden. A huge passion and hobby of mine is cooking for my husband and me. I've learned from my father an invaluable quality to work hard for what I want in life. I have a very strong work ethic.

In my free time I enjoy to cook, read, travel when I can, go camping, most anything outdoors- bike riding, swimming and running. I've participated in a few 5k's and hope to work up to a 10k and possibly more! I see the mental and physical value of being active and healthy and this is something I would assist in instilling in children under my care. I'm also very artistic. I love paint, draw, color, doodle... You name it! I frequently have brought art supplies with me to work and kids love it!
I'll do my best to be your children's friend, but at the same time, I will not spoil them, or turn a blind eye to behavior that needs to be corrected. It won't help you out as a parent if I, as the nanny spoil them. No parent wants to hear "well Lacy let's me do it!!"

I enjoy the challenge of multi-tasking. Setting up grocery schedules, after school schedules, and systems so that the home can function smoothly. One particular family I spent four years with. I worked with the wife and prepared and set up dinners that can easily be thawed or warmed up along with after school snacks for the children that were healthy, easy and enjoyable. I want to achieve the easiest most functional solution that works for everyone. I am highly organized, energetic, prompt and dependable.
I'm a non smoker, and have no children of my own.
