I have experience in childcare both personally as well as professionally.
Last May 2011, I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education. As positions for teaching right now are currently limited, I am looking to nanny so I can still utilize my professional strengths working with children and doing something I love and enjoy. I love working with children and keeping them active whether its playing games, going to the park, or doing mini art projects (varies upon age). I have over 10 years of nannying/babysitting experience and have worked with a variety of ages from infants and toddlers to early teens. I myself am an animal lover and feel comfortable working and caring for pets. I personally enjoy cooking and am always open to try new things. With my teaching certification and childcare background, I have become familiarized and experienced working with students with special needs and/or health relations such as diabetes, epilepsy, and nut allergies. As a nanny, it is important for me to have good communication with my family and to continuously inspire and engage the children I care for by remaining active and delving into specific interests.
