I have been an aunt for 13 years now, and I have eight nieces and nephews. Four of them live with me, and four of them don't. I help them with daily activities, and play school with them to get them ready for kindergarten, second grade, and preschool. I also help the younger ones that do not live with me, and they are babies. I feed them, take them for walks, give them baths, play with them, and try to teach them how to say basic easy words, such as hi or bye, depending on their age. I have a nephew who is on dialysis every night for kidney failure. He has behavioral problems, so my family kind of has to treat him like he has a special needs disorder.
In high school and middle school, I helped a lot with the special needs classes and students. I was an aid for their class, and I even helped them eat lunch with the rest of the school students.
