I am 26 and I have been caring for children for over 10 years. I am one of those people who just loves kids and the feeling tends to be mutual! I have cared for children of all ages from infant to teen and have experience caring for multiple children at one time. I have worked with children in a multitude of settings including full-time child care positions, at a day care, at a preschool, as a birthday hostess at a restaurant, as a coach of a 7th grade cheer-leading squad, and as a mental health counselor in an adolescent residential program. I completed several child development courses in high school and I hold a B.S. in psychology as well as a minor in Women's Studies. I am very creative and love arts and crafts, being active, the outdoors, baking, playing games, being goofy, dancing, trips to the park, mall, zoo, clay studio, etc. I am a total neat freak and don't even need to be asked to clean up around the house, it would be my pleasure! I enjoy doing laundry, so if you show me where your hampers are hiding I can promise you they will never be overflowing when I'm around. I'm also a health and nature nut and I don't mind cooking either. I have my own reliable car, I am a non-smoker and I am CPR certified.
I hope to find something part-time during the week mornings to early afternoon. I currently have another part-time position on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons and therefore I am unavailable on those days past 2:00 p.m. Please contact me personally with any questions and for my resume and references.
