As a kid I grew up around Girl Scout camps, which made me always see the counselors as more then just someone who was looking after me. I saw them as my mentor, my big sister, or my hero. This made me want to be just like them some day and have that little girl or boy look up at me and call me their big sister, their mentor or their hero.

With that I also, see that kids are the future and every day I feel like there is something new I could be learning from them. I see them being the fire that melts my heart and makes me want to be their mentor, big sister or someone else they can rely on. With all of that, I feel like every day I care for another child my world is complete.
