In junior high I volunteered at a YMCA daycare. I provided snacks for the children, took them outside, read to them, played inside with them, and did art projects with them. In high school I babysat three kids. There was a 2-year-old girl, a 4-year-old boy, and a 9-year-old girl. I really enjoyed watching over them. Traveling to them was simple because they were my neighbor's children. They loved to go outside and collect bugs and leaves. I am currently a student at Lewis-Clark State College and majoring in elementary education. I am home, in Boise, for the summer. Up in Lewiston I babysit four great children. One is two, one is 4, one is seven, and one is nine. Getting to their house is simple, because it is within walking distance. I also have worked at an elementary school for the past two years. I'm have recess duty, and also take them inside to eat lunch. I also run an after school program for the kids that can't get a ride home right after. I love my job and all the kids I work with. I return to Lewiston in August. But home in Boise from May 15th-August 5th
