I am a professional nanny in the Vienna area. I have over 11 years of experience doing in-home care and seven years in early childhood education classroom teaching. In addition, I have a master's degree in school social work, and more than 430 hours of continuing education hours in early childhood education. I am certified in child/infant CPR and First Aid. My driving record is spotless. I am a very "hands-on" type of child care provider. I complete a daily sheet, each day, outlining the day's activities, food intake, diapers (if applicable), and any other useful information. I am comfortable with cleaning, running errands, grocery shopping, etc., but I try to make it very clear to my families that the care of your child(ren) will always come first. I am more than happy to provide a complete resume and list of references upon request.

My current summer work schedule is allowing me to pick up two extra days during the week (Wednesday/Thursday or Thursday/Friday). I am looking for a family with two or fewer kiddos that would love to get out have some fun in the sun! Some examples of outings on our summer calendar are Pirate Ship Adventures, Imagination Stage Theater, Reston Zoo, National Children's Museum, Splash Park on the Potomac, Splash Down Water Park, National Aquarium, National Zoo, boat rides on the Potomac, etc;.

Currently, my three children (ages 6, 3, and newborn) come along with me, each day. I have been bringing my children to work with me for the past 6 years, and it has worked out beautifully. I am seeking a family that truly sees the value in having other kids interact with their children on a daily basis. I am more than happy to discuss my experience with this in greater detail, along with providing letters of recommendation and testimonials, upon request.
