I have 9+ years of childcare experience. In high school, I worked in a pre-school and took care of the younger baby classroom then moved into the 2-3-year-old classroom. During college I worked for the YMCA and was the site director at an elementary after school care program where I planned and organized everyday activities for 30-35 elementary aged children. We also provided an all day summer program as well. After college, I moved to Georgia to marry my husband, who is a police officer in the area, and utilized Care. com for employment opportunities and was fortunate to have been selected by a family to care for their 3-year-old son with autism and his 8-year-old sister. I grew to love them but after awhile the distance became too great and I have since been managing a Verizon Retail store over the last couple of years. I now have a 17-month-old little girl of my own and my husband and I have decided it's best to stay with her while I can. I would love to find a family who need a reliable, fun, experienced, trustworthy, caregiver where I could pursue my passion. My college major was elementary education and my passion is the future generation and helping them grow and learn. :)
