I am currently with a 3-year-old, and a newborn. The family will be moving around...
I am 28, and grew up in Tewksbury and now bought a house in Bradford, MA. I have always wanted to work with kids since I was young. I am a very creative person. I love helping others and am very responsible. I have great references, and I have a bubbly personality. I have experience working with children ages newborn-17 years. I am currently with a 3-year-old, and a newborn. The family will be moving around Thanksgiving (2012). They are one of my references. So I hope to find a family soon after. I have been with them for 2 and a half years. I also work with a boy who has cerebral palsy and his sister. I have been with them for 9 years full and part time. Again, another reference! I went to school for early childhood, and took a class in ABA (behavior therapy) which lead me to work at schools, and home based services with children with behavior special needs. I have worked at day cares and volunteered to help at schools. I also worked at the Boys' and Girls' Club when I was going through college. I am a certified medical assistant as a "back up plan" even though my dream job would to be a child care provider for a family long term. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I do have a resume if you're interested in looking. I love animals, especially dolphins (I am obsessed!). I am a big kid at heart, but can be stern when needed. I like to interact with kids whether it's helping with homework, playing games, or participating in any activities of their interest.
