Hi, my name is Kristin, and I've worked with children for about 14 years, 13 of those years being paid experience. When I was in middle school, I would tutor students in elementary and middle school. When I turned 13 years old, I started baby-sitting friends of the family's children. When I entered high school, I participated in the child development courses that they offered, completing all of them. After graduating from high school, I started at Carroll Community College where I received two associate degrees in early childhood education. When I had my first daughter who is 5 years old now, I started working in child care centers. Working with children is my passion. I love watching children grow up and being involved in their lives. I have worked with all ages of children from newborns to teens. I'm a very active person and I love having children be active instead of them sitting in front of a television all day. I love doing many things with children, such as arts and crafts, cooking activities, reading to them, playing games, getting outside and playing, or even going to the park. I love when children learn something new and their little eyes light up with excitement! I have two daughters (5 years and 6 months), so I am looking for a job where I can watch the children at my house.
