My name is Kristin! I am a 20-year-old student who loves to be outdoors, play games, read, be active, and go camping. I started babysitting outside the family at a young age. In sixth grade, I had my first job which lasted 3 years. I walked home four neighbor children (6, 8, 9, 10) and watched them until their family arrived home and on occasional weekends. I was responsible for homework being done and keeping them safe while they played outdoors. In August of 2011, I took on my first nanny position which was a great experience! I was responsible for a 10-year-old boy. My job was to pick him up from school everyday and take him home. I then helped him with his homework and watched over him to make sure he was safe. Many days he had friends over so I was responsible for multiple children at a time. Occasionally, I was responsible for taking him to appointments and making dinner. My next position was a summer position caring for a 13-year-old female. My responsibility was to keep her active during the summer. We did activities such as arts and crafts, swimming, and horseback riding. My most recent position was with a family with a 10-month-old and a 6.5-year-old. I worked with them for nine months (since the baby was 1 month) so I do have newborn experience. I had to leave that position since I am moving back to St. Louis.
