Growing up, my family never had a stable parent figure because they both work the same shift in their jobs. My father was a pilot which had a standard schedule, and my mother is a state worker. I was responsible for getting my younger siblings to and from school for the last three years, along with supervising their school duties. I have also cared for a family of two boys; one of whom was diagnosed with high functioning autism. They very quickly became part of my family. I have also supervised children while working for a petting zoo. It was my responsibility to educate the children on how to approach animals and how to be safe at all times.
