I began babysitting kids in my neighborhood when I was 13 years old. My love for children continued when I got my first job as a summer camp counselor, where I worked with kids ages 5-13 for 3 summers. Responsibilities included supervising a given group of children and getting to know their parents, enforcing camp rules, and encouraging children to participate in all scheduled activities.

For the past three years, I have been completing my college education while simultaneously working as a teacher's assistant at a Denver public school. I have experience working in first, second, and fourth grades, as well as in the art classroom.

I also have experience with younger children, as I have six nephews. I currently live with two of my nephews, an infant and a nearly 3-year-old, so I am experienced in the needs of children from infant and up.
