Since I was 12 years old, each summer I would help my aunt care for my two young cousins. From the time the boys were newborn to 5 years old I was my aunt's assistant, while she ran her new and demanding business. I would help with everything from changing diapers, bathing, feeding schedules, and washing clothes to hide- and go- seek and singing the alphabet. Also, from ages 12- 18, I was an assistant for an at-home babysitter. Duties included scheduled feedings, game playing, learning groups, trips to the park, anything that I was needed for, I did. I am now a mature, young adult who is looking to get settled with providing care for one family. I look forward to creating safe, new bonds with them, and establishing a comfortable and consistent relationship that will benefit the children, the parents, and myself.
