Honestly, I probably don't have much experience compared to other people whose profiles you have glanced over. I know how to change a diaper, make a healthy meal, construct forts, say no when needed, explore and tell a lovely bedtime story. I have healed boo boos with band-aids and ice and enjoy rocking a child in my arms until they feel safe enough to fall asleep. I don't have many references besides my aunt. She has two energetic boys that I have had the pleasure of watching from time to time in the past. They're a little older now and no longer need the supervision of their big cousin. The most recent child care job I have had was taking care of a baby girl and now 4-year-old boy. Currently, I am a checker at a grocery store. I'm going to school to hopefully become an English teacher. I value education because I truly believe knowledge is power but, what I believe in even more so is curiosity. The curiosity of a child has potential to change the world for the better. I promise to help support and love your child's curiosity by feeding them well-balanced meals, getting homework on top of playtime done and being there for them when they have a question or need.
