I have been babysitting since the age of 12. I have a little brother who is 10 years old and I was one of his primary caregivers as he grew up. I also have regularly babysat my cousins, who are now 3 and 6, from the time they were born. A couple summers ago I was a nanny for 4 girls, all ranging in age from 3-12. I have babysat a wide range of children including those with rare food allergies, special needs, and learning disabilities. I also have experience with newborns and infants. Additionally, I used to volunteer at my little brother's pre-school and helped with the kids. Babysitting is not just a job for me, but a hobby. I really love spending time with kids and love seeing them develop and mature. I also used to tutor for a family with children ages 5 and 8. I love helping kids with any homework they might have and try to make them learn in a way in which they can fully understand. I specialize in English and math, but I am able to cover other subjects as well. When I was younger, I went through Junior Lifeguards and learned how to perform CPR and other precautionary measures that would need to be taken in case of emergency. I can also cook, clean, and change diapers. I have a car, so I am able to pick the kids up from school, take them to the park, or wherever else they might need to go. I love taking kids out on adventures or hikes or anything to get them active and outside. I am a student so I have a somewhat flexible schedule during the daytime and would be able to babysit on nights/weekends if ever needed.
