I have been working with children in all age groups for about 20 years. I was a teacher at a daycare center for children with special needs for two and a half years. I worked with children from 6 weeks to 7 years of age. I had the experience of working with children with physical disabilities to children with autism, Down syndrome, and speech or socially delayed. In the past I have worked with typically developing children as well. I love getting down on the floor and playing with the children. I enjoy talking and reading with children as well. I would be willing to work with your child on anything you would like them to learn. I enjoy being creative and doing art projects with children. I am not afraid to get dirty with the children and always clean up any mess I may make. I will teach your child manners and how to be respectful to everyone. I drive and have a clean driving record. I have been working with children since I was in high school and have always enjoyed watching them learn, grow and develop. I worked in a day care center with typically developing children, while pursuing my college degree. I have a B.A. in sociology with a minor in elementary education. For two years I worked in a school for children with autism. I have also worked as a teacher assistant in a public school with preschool children who had special needs. I have three years' experience as a nanny with infants through preschool children.
