I have over 15 years' experience caring for children. I have taken the responsibility of caring for and helping raise my niece (now 11) and nephew (now 8). After my sister's maternity leave for her first child, I cared for my niece for almost two years, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. My responsibilities included changing diapers, feedings, taking daily walks, group activities (library, playground/beach, play dates) putting her down for naps and light cleaning. Once my nephew was born, I cared for both my niece and nephew for six months before my sister was able to become a stay at home mom. Now that the kids are getting older, I still take them every chance I can, they come over to my house for movie night and sleepovers!
For the past three years, I have helped care for my brother-in-law and sister-in-laws' four children (11, 8, 4, & 1 years old). This time together has been spent feeding them, bathing them, reading them stories and putting them to bed.
I also currently babysit for our neighbor's son who will be turning 3 in August. I care for their son once or twice a month, usually so they can enjoy a date night, or sometimes during the day so they can run errands.
I will enjoy spending every minute with your child/children, I am very energetic and enjoy making my time useful. I love being active and would like to incorporate that with working with your children, whether it's playing outdoors, playing games, or being creative with arts and crafts on a rainy day.
