I started babysitting when I was in middle school and have since watched kids of all ages, starting with newborns up to middle school. Two years ago I was a teacher aide for a first grade class and got to work with kids on a new level where I actually got to teach them instead of simply playing and hanging out with them (which I personally think is just as important). I was a nanny for two summers in a row, one summer for four kids and one summer for two. Last summer I worked as a Children's Ministry Intern at my church where I hosted events and taught classes with anywhere from 10 to 20 kids. I love working with kids and just hanging out with them. I also help support Reading is Fundamental through my sorority. We raise awareness of children's literacy as well as donate books and help kids learn to read.
