I am a Special Education Major at Southeastern University and Special Education is my passion as well as Early Childhood. I do live on campus but travel home on the weekends and would love to babysit your children for a "date night" or weekend out on a Friday or Saturday night!
I have had over a hundred hours or direct teaching experience and as a high school student I job shadowed and taught at nearby elementary schools working with specifically children in kindergarten through grades 4 and a special education class. I have worked children with autism, a cerebral palsy student, and a child with Angelman's syndrome. I have had several hours of shadowing and training to be a therapist for the ABA program. I am currently babysitting a 1-year-old and 4-year-old who are moving. I was referenced to all of her close friends and business workers. I also babysit for a 2 and 3-year-old girl and boy down the street.
In addition, I have worked at a summer camp in South Carolina for the past four years and a GA camp in Alexandria at Tall Timbers as a counselor with children ages 6-17. Therefore, I've worked with a range of children. I absolutely love working with children and aim to be a teacher, and create group homes and schools to teach and work in.
