My experience caring for children started off at a young age. When I was 4 years old my brother was born and when I was about 8 he was diagnosed with Autism. For those of you who are familiar with Autism you will understand that although today my brother is 18, it is as if I having being caring for a young child all my life. I've always had a strong attachment and nurturing instinct with my brother and today we are closer than ever. Along with my unique experience aiding in raising my brother, I also have 2 consecutive years experience nannying for the same family. I starting nannying for this family in the beginning of the school year in 2010. They have 3 children and when I first started with them their ages were 1, 4, & 5. Over the past 2 years I have learned so much about caring for these ages and I've learned what a vital time in their lives it was. I've grown so close with their family and I care about them deeply. I help with potty training, homework, speech issues with the youngest and much more. I feel such a connection with taking care of children and I feel as if I was born to do so. Turning this into a career is a dream of mine because it comes so natural to me.
