I've been a nanny for 5+ years. I have worked with three families during this time and have excellent references. Being a nanny is truly my passion and always has been, whether 17 years of being a stay at home, homeschooling my children for nine years. I absolutely love the natural interest and love of learning children are born with.

I took 15+ credits of Early Childhood Education classes including nutrition, art, and Child Development including hands on experience in a preschool.

I've also taken some Elementary Education courses including Children's Literature, Music & Art Appreciation, with hands on training in an Elementary classroom for 2nd & 3rd grade.

I am extremely patient and kind. I think one of the best traits I have to offer is consistency. I believe positive reinforcement works best. I love reading aloud especially with them sitting in my lap and turning the pages. I like to nurture children. I have no problem keeping the house tidy and laundry. I am an animal lover and each family I've worked with has had dogs and cats.

I am loving, trustworthy and dependable. I would love an opportunity to talk to you about your childcare needs and desires. I am flexible and would consider other hours besides those listed. I am First Aid/CPR/AED for infant/child and adult. I am hoping to find a family I could work with for a few years but I am flexible.
