I am a single mother of a 17-year daughter. As my daughter gets older and more independent, I find myself with lots of time on my hands. I really miss those younger years. I would love to fill that time caring for younger children. My daughter is on the honor roll in high school. She plays for a travel lacrosse team. She volunteers every Wednesday night with mentally and physically challenged teens. That all being said, I'd like to think that I've successfully instilled good morals and character. I would certainly carry that over in caring for any child that I babysit.
