I began watching 3 children of a local family on a regular basis when I was 13 years old until I was 16 (18 months, 9, 11). I have since had the pleasure of caring for children from newborn to teenagers. I was with one family from the time the children were 2 years and 2 months until they were in junior high when the family moved. I watched the children while the parents traveled on business and vacation to just helping care for the kids and light housekeeping and preparing meals. Other children I have watched have had mental and physical challenges from seizures to autism. I have stayed with teenagers overnight while parents have traveled and loved all that we learned from each other. I also care for pets and homes while others travel on vacation. My love for people and desire to help others has blessed me with great friends and opportunities to also help the elderly that are facing challenges and need assistance whether temporarily or permanently. Having had my own challenges in life has made my love of life and my heavenly father an integral part of my life. Serving others is an important factor for me as I have worked with families, retail, Disney World, and the police department.
