My first job in high school was working as a camp counselor for K-6 grade children at a daycare camp. It was the best first job anyone could have! I fell in love with being around kids and helping them with their homework, playing games with them, encouraging them to create, and making sure they had a nutritious snack that would keep them engaged in their daily activities. I continued babysitting throughout high school, as well as when I attended the University of Southern California. During my sophomore year in college, I was introduced to the Honolulu Academy of Arts, where I worked as a K-1 grade teaching assistant for an introductory art class. The summer after I graduated, I became a first grade teacher for the same introductory art class. More recently, I was a nanny for 3 wonderful children, ages 2, 4 and 12. I absolutely love being around kids of all ages and caring for them in any way that I can to help in their growth and development in all aspects of their life!
