I have always loved children but did not officially begin working with children until I was 16. I was a preschool gymnastics, tumbling, cheer-leading, and boys/girls gymnastics instructor. I worked with children ages 3-20. Later I worked in a preschool where I worked with children ranging in age from 3 months to 6 years. Recently, I was employed as an American Sign Language Interpreter for the Marion County Board of Education. Here I worked in a classroom of 19 3-5-year-olds (though most of my time was spent one-on-one with a Deaf 3-year-old girl). I have also volunteered at a boy scout camp with ages ranging from 5-18.
