I have a large family and I began babysitting for my older cousins when I was 15. I never thought of caring for children as a job. The fact that I get paid for it still amazes me! I have over 5 years' experience in childcare; have worked as a part-time nanny and as a camp counselor. I am CPR certified. I also volunteer and tutor at local after-school programs. Having been raised by a retired teacher, education is my passion. I have realized that my abilities to teach, connect, and care for children are very special gifts. I consider it an honor for parents to entrust their most prized possessions, their children, with me. I will always honor that trust and I do not take it lightly.
