I'm finishing up my junior year at Westfield State University as an Elementary Education major and absolutely love it! I've had a lot of experience working with kids, and I'm very excited to make a career out of it. Through the years I've had a lot of experience with children including babysitting ages 3-8, teaching Sunday School, and working at an Early Intervention program for preschool students with autism. More recently, I've been put into a more serious role, as I've been doing my pre-practicum hours in classrooms for my major. I've been getting a lot of experience the past few semesters with actually teaching lessons and being in control of an entire class. Through working with with kids in such a wide variety of settings I feel I have struck a good balance between being able to be responsible and dependable, but have fun at the same time. I know a lot about classroom management and have dealt with large groups of diverse types of children, leaving me to be able to maintain control, rules, and make sure the children are safe. At the same time, though, I'm young, very energetic, and love to have fun and play games with the kids! Besides working with children my hobbies would include running and playing volleyball! I play for my school and absolutely love it. I really just like to be outside and have fun.
