I have been caring for children for 10 years now, allowing me the opportunity for extensive experience in children ranging from 6 weeks up to 12 years of age, as well as large groups of children, children with Autism and Asperger's, multiples, children with medical needs and children who need a kind, but firm and consistent caregiver. I have had numerous opportunities as a babysitter throughout the past 10 years, including 16+ families, along with almost two years in a preschool caring for children 6 weeks through 12 years. Because of the time I worked in a preschool, I have many hours in training classes pertaining to child care including CPR and First Aid which I keep up to date. I have had 2 nanny positions including a 9-month-old and 5-year-old, and then later a 2-month-old and 3-year-old. Including the experience already listed above, I have also participated in Vacation Bible School, parents night out and Sunday school, as well as numerous opportunities for volunteer work. After participating in archery for many years, I had the chance to coach a portion of a summer camp at a Jewish community center, including kids from age 4-12 years. I'm currently attending Augusta State University for Early Childhood Education and have now taken several classes that are in direct correlation to music and performing arts education, as well as development. I look forward to continuing my growth as a child care provider as I approach 11 years of experience and hope to hear from you soon!
