I am currently a substitute teacher. I spend everyday in a classroom with students ranging from junior kindergarten all the way up to seniors in high school. I love spending time with the students. I have spent two summers caring for two boys, ages 7/8 and 9/10. This position consisted of taking them to various sporting events, helping them with their summer recreation activities, planning play-dates, and making lunch for them. One additional summer was spent caring for four children (4, 7, 8, and 10). Most days were spent at the pool while I would keep track of them and play with the youngest in the kiddie pool. I would also help teach the 4-year-old to swim and take her to her swimming lessons. I would prepare games/activities, plan play-dates, make lunch, and take the children to their appointments/sporting activities.
