I love working with children and I have been around children my whole life. I grew up with Au Pairs. I have been a nanny of a 2 1/2 little girl for the past seven months full-time, as well as taking care of her during previous summers. My experiences also include babysitting through high school and college. My responsibilities included waking up, taking to school, picking up from school, learning enrichment after school, putting to bed on evenings parents were still at work, and being available to sleepover if parents traveled. I helped the family on vacation. I was also responsible for laundry (child's clothes, bedding, stuffed animals), grocery shopping, errands for family, preparing breakfast, packing and fixing lunch for day care, fixing and feeding dinner, cleaning child's bathroom, giving evening bath, take child to doctor's appointments, make sure play areas are tidy and cleaned with Clorox, getting family mail, and afternoon activities. Afternoon activities included petting farm, mall, library, baking, arts and crafts, swimming lessons, park, movie, swimming, ice cream, and playing outside. I also worked with the child on simple Spanish, potty training, manners, ABCs, hand-eye coordination, etc.
