I enjoy working with children and I do not view care-taking kids as a job since it is so rewarding to know that I have made a positive impact in a child's life by helping them learn, grow, develop a loving personality, and be a 'big sister' for them. I've been care-taking children since I was 11 years old as a babysitter and I genuinely feel that taking care of children is one of my biggest passions in life. I am highly experienced with working in many different environments, such as babysitting, nannying, teaching autistic children, tutoring reading skills in downtown Memphis, and assisting kids in swimming. I've also worked with 2 to 8-year-old little girls in a dance studio helping them with their hair, make-up, and costumes. My duties at the dance studio consisted of keeping the girls entertained before it was time to take them on stage. I'm very active, and enjoy engaging in a wide variety of activities with the kids I work with. I feel that it is very important to stay productive, keep kids focused on learning new skills, and to keep a positive attitude at all times.
