I have been a nanny for three years now. I started in January 2010 watching a sweet baby girl, starting when she was just 2 months old. I watched her Monday through Friday for most of the day at her home where her parents worked from home. I changed her from her nightie to her day clothes. My duties were to dress her, feed her (from her bottle to actual baby food and then real food!), change her diaper, clean her and play with her all day. It was my "job" (I don't consider watching kids a job, I love it!) to give her plenty of play time to stimulate her senses and make sure she was getting a great amount of time to learn and grow!

I watched a 3-year-old girl from January 2011 until November 2011. My duties with her were to play with her and teach her how to spell, do basic counting, etc. She and I were also allowed to go to the mall together, the movies, anything!

I watched 2-year-old twin boys as well from March 2012 to November 2012 until they were put in preschool. I also watch my nieces and nephews quite often and have taken care of them since they were born as my brother is a police officer and often needs me to watch them while he is on duty. My nieces are ages 5, 6 and 7 and my nephew is 3 years old!

I am currently student teaching at public schools in Mesa while I earn my Master's in Education along with teaching certificates in both elementary education and special education at ASU. I hope to one day be a member of the school board and a school principal (of course, this will be after I teach children for at least 15 years).

I'm available on date nights, late nights, weekends, school breaks, and for the summer!
