I have been babysitting, nannying, and house-sitting for 6 years now. Aside from child care/adult care, my duties have included picking up the house, laundry, cooking meals, caring for animals, administering medicines, and any additional chores. I have nannied two boys from the age of 8 months to 2 years, one of which had special needs. I was responsible for all meals, activities, hygiene, and medical needs of the children. I have additionally packed all of the children's belongings and clothes for vacation, and traveled with families to care for their children at weddings, vacations, and parent's jobs on several occasions. Some of my other babysitting jobs have required daycare and elementary drop-off/pick-up. I am also able to speak conversational Spanish, which not only has been helpful in communicating with maids and lawn-care workers who may visit while homeowners are at gone, but also with teaching children.
